Challenged Athletes Foundation – CAF’s primary goal is to increase the physical activity levels for physically challenged individuals.
Horsemanship For The Handicapped - Offers therapeutic horseback riding to the developmentally disabled and to those with debilitating diseases. Training in horsemanship for persons with disabilities provides rehabilitation and development of balance, posture, muscles, stamina, and coordination. No fees charged.

Riding Emphasizing Individual Needs and Strengths (REINS) – Provides physical, mental, and emotional therapy to a wide range of disabled children and adults through the use of carefully supervised horseback riding.
San Diego Adaptive Sports Foundation – Improves the quality of life for children and adults with physical disabilities through sports and recreation.
San Diego Indoor Sports – A social club for people with physical disabilities.
San Diego Special Olympics – Contributes to the physical, social and psychological development of persons with intellectual disabilities. Through positive successful experiences in sport, they can gain confidence and self-mastery and start to build a self-image associated with success rather than failure.
Sports for Exceptional Athletes – Serves San Diego County athletes with developmental disabilities, ages 5 through adult.
Winner’s Circle Equestrian Therapy – Therapeutic horseback riding for individuals with disabilities. This recreational activity can improve coordination, muscular strength, motor skills, flexibility, and self-esteem, among other skills.
