Compeer San Diego – dedicated to providing friendship and information, and advocating for those dealing with a mental illness in the San Diego Area. Offering a proven friendship program and other support programs their goal is to help those suffering with a mental illness live a more fulfilling life.

Community Research Foundation – Services are delivered in a culturally-sensitive manner, utilizing a wraparound approach for children and a psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery approach for adults. Individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use problems are welcomed, and an integrated approach is utilized to address both the psychiatric and substance conditions

Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance – A peer-facilitated support group of people who support one another on our road to wellness. DBSA San Diego emphasizes education in all areas that relate to bipolar and depressive illnesses, including the identification of community resources available to help those affected by these disorders.

Mental Health Of America San Diego County – MHA brings together client, families, professionals, providers, community leaders and the public to collaborate, cooperate and ensure available, affordable care to all citizens. Over the years, MHA has offered numerous programs and services focused on the following four areas: Advocacy, Education, Services and Research.

National Alliance on Mental illness – At the heart of NAMI San Diego’s mission is the sharing of information and striving to end the stigma associated with mental illness. To this end, we offer a Helpline, support groups, educational meetings, newsletters, a lending library, and a number of classes on mental illness held at various locations throughout San Diego County.
